Print Step

In the "Print" step, you can check presetting data such as the color profile or the ink consumption and edit the data if applicable. You can then submit the presetting data to the press.

Toggle views

You can choose between the following views:

Press Sheet List

The list of press sheets displays the print operations of all press sheets. A press sheet can be linked to multiple operations, for example a print operation each for the front and back sides.

Operations list

The operations list shows all print operations of the selected job.

In the page or page list view, you can toggle between the list and the thumbnail view.

Context menu commands

Menu command	Function
"Submit to" menu command	This function is available in the press sheet view. In contrast to the function using the "Submit" button, you can use the “Submit to” context menu command to submit one or more press sheets to several SheetfedPrinting sequences that are configured for different presses. Example: A brochure with cover and body is to be printed. The cover is to be printed on an SM102, and the body on an XL105. Select the two print operations and call up the “Submit to” context menu command and select the SheetfedPrinting sequence belonging to the target printing press for the cover and the inner part and submit the press sheets to these sequences.
"Paper Availability" menu command	This is where you can customize the paper availability. This information affects the checkpoints in Scheduler.

"Job Memory Card" button	Presetting data for the press can be written to a connected USB mass storage device or a job memory card. You will find details about this at the following points: •Sending Presetting Data via USB Mass Storage Device to the Press. •Sending Presetting Data via Job Memory Card to the Press.
"Submit" button	Press the "Submit" button or the "F12" key to submit a fully parameterized press sheet to a SheetfedPrinting sequence. The SheetfedPrinting sequence calculates the presetting data for printing and submits them to the press.See "Submit" window.
"Planning" button	The Planning assistant appears. See also Planning Assistant.
"Properties" button	See Check Properties of Press Sheets
"Close Job" button	The job in the job view is closed.
