"Merge Object Properties" |
With the dialog "Merge Object Properties", you can merge separate objects into a single object. In this way, you can undo the "Break" function. You can also delete accidental duplicates.
1.First select the objects you want to merge in the Mode "Select".
2.Now click the "Merge Object Properties" button.
3.A dialog "Delete duplicated objects" displays.
4.You can enable two options here: "Merge objects with same attributes" and "Merge objects adjoined in a point".
5.Click "OK". Finally, the system gives you statistical information about the number of segments and arcs merged.
Only duplicated objects with the same styles and object properties are merged.
Examples for objects that will not be merged with this function:
•Duplicated objects in different styles
•Duplicated objects in the same style but with different color/line width
•Adjoined objects (i.e. having no common point), no matter of their style and properties
You can merge duplicated and adjoining objects with different styles and object properties if both options are enabled. The style of the most recently drawn/modified object among the "parents" becomes the style of the resulting merged line/arc.
Return to Tool Bar in the "1up" Tab.
