The program offers three arc drawing modes: Arc by edges , Arc By BEH , and Arc By BEC.

To toggle between the modes, keep the mouse button pressed over the button currently displayed in the toolbar. Then release the mouse button when the pointer is on the desired button.

Arc by edges

"Arc by edges"

In the "Arc by edges" mode, you can define an arc by three points: the starting point of the arc, one point on the arc, and the end point of the arc.

The following edit bar belongs to the mode:

Toggles the display to "Diameter".

Radius/Diameter

This where you specify the radius or the diameter of the circle belonging to the arc section.

Angle

This where you specify the angle of the arc. This is the angle between the two imaginary lines connecting the center of the circle with the beginning and the end points of the arc, respectively.

Drawing an Arc by Edges

1.Click the "Arc by Edges" button.

2.Define the beginning point of the arc.

3.Define a second point on the arc.

4.There are two ways to finish the arc:

·Move the mouse to the desired location of the end point of the arc and click on it.

·Specify the desired values for radius (or diameter) and angle directly in the edit bar. Press the "Enter" key and click anywhere on the canvas. The system will draw an arc with the specified attributes.
The program will restrict your drawing options, and you determine the end point with a mouse click if you specify only one attribute (radius or angle).

Arc By BEH

"ArcBEH"

In the drawing mode "Arc by BEH" (beginning, end, height), you define an arc by its beginning and end point and the point in the arc's middle.

Chord

This where you specify the length of the chord. This is the connecting line between the beginning and the end point of the arc.

Angle

This where you specify the angle between the chord and the X-axis.

H

This where you specify the height of the arc middle point above the chord.

Drawing an Arc by BEH

1.Click the "Arc by BEH" button.

2.Define the beginning point of the arc.

3.Define the end point of the arc.

4.Define the height (center) of the arc.

5.There are two ways to finish the arc:

·Move the mouse to the desired position and click on it.

·Enter the desired height value directly into the edit bar, press "Enter" and click anywhere on the canvas.

Arc By BEC
