Mode "Selecting 3D Presenter Panels"

"Select":

In order to define folding angles and sequences in the 3D Presenter you first have to select panels of the 3D design.

1.To start the mode, click the button "Select".

2.Then click the desired panel in the 3D canvas. The edit bar shown below appears:

Controls in the "Select" Mode

Action

Here you can define the action you want to apply to the selected panel. (To be able to change the action, you must have selected the desired production stage beforehand.)

Idle

The panel is not changed.

Fold

The panel is folded at the edge. Set the angle using the text box or the slider.

Prefold

The panel is prefolded (open and close).

Deform

Places the panel around a cylinder. In this way, a more realistic representation is possible, for example for labels on bottles. You can set the radius with the slider or by specifying a value. See the example Wavy box panel.

Angle

You can set the fold angle here (only for the "Fold" and "Prefold" actions).

Radius

You can set the deformation radius here (only for the "Deform" action).

"Animate Folding Side"

Animates the folding action defined for the selected panel.

"Fold/Unfold Panel"

Drag the slider to change the folding angle of the selected panel or the radius for the "Deform" action.

"Set value"

Click this button to apply the angle you selected with the slider. The respective step of the action is then saved.

 

Back to Tool Bar in the "3D Presenter" Tab.
