Program Settings

The program settings for Prinect Packaging Pro & Label Pro are defined in the Prinect Signa Station Preferences.

In Signa Station, choose "File > Preferences" and the "Packaging" tab.

The path for the die pool [1] and the settings for the cutting plotter [2] are only relevant if a Label Pro license is available.

Die Pool Settings

The cutting dies are stored in a die pool to facilitate the assignment of shapes in case of repeat jobs. This is a folder containing the cf2 files with shapes. In the Prinect Signa Station Preferences, you can set the path of the folder location; to do so, go to "File > Preferences > Packaging > CAD Files" [1].

The program searches the ShapePool folder for a cf2 file containing a shape with the specified name if shapes were specified for jobs that were added to the Prinect Signa Station Ganging Optimization. This shape is then used for the 1up in Label Pro.

Cutting Plotter Settings

It is possible to send individual 1ups or the layout of a cutting die to a cutting plotter to produce small series or prototypes. See Submitting Shapes to CAM Machine (Label Pro).

In the Prinect Signa Station Preferences, specify the machine type and the path where the files for the cutting plotter are to be located: "File > Preferences > Packaging > Path for CAM" [2].

You must enable the machine type separately in the program if you cannot select the machine type for exporting. See "CAM Machines" dialog.
