A brief explanation of important measures in this report

The basic make-ready time is measured in hours and consists of the time span between starting an operation and the first waste sheet printed. The next time period between the first waste sheet and the first good sheet is called fine-tuning time. It is measured in hours as well.

Basic make-ready time and fine-tuning time combined give the make-ready time. Thus, the make-ready time covers the time span between the start of an operation and the first good sheet. It is given in hours.

The average make-ready time per operation is the make-ready time divided by the number of operations processed. It is given in minutes.

The average basic make-ready time per operation and the average fine-tuning time per operation are calculated accordingly.

The make-ready count is the number of times a make-ready procedure was performed. It gives the total of intervals between a plate change and a following good production.

The wash-up time is the total time that is spent on performing the wash-up (cleaning) of the device. It is given in hours.

The wash-up time per 1000 impressions gives the average cleaning time that is spent on 1000 printed sheets. It is given in minutes.

The wash-up cycle count gives the number of performed wash-up processes.

The wash-up cycle count per 1000 impressions gives you the average number of wash-ups that were performed for every 1000 sheets.
