"Enable Print" option (2)

This option refers to the printing of pallet sheets. During production, the printed sheets are laid on pallets for subsequent processes, such as cutting, folding or external processes. To make sure that these pallets can always be uniquely identified, pallet sheets are attached to the pallets.

If the "Enable Print" option (1) is activated, the machine operator can print a pallet sheet with the operation (PDC message) "Print Pallet Sheet" on an office printer if such a printer is available. This requires that this operation is assigned to the operator. This assignment can be checked in the summary (3).

"Select Printer" list box (4)

Here you can specify which printer is to be used to print the pallet sheets. If you do not select PDF export as the "printer", it is recommended that you select a printer that is as close as possible to the currently configured machine. You will find more information about setting up a system printer for printing pallet sheets at the following point: Setup for output of a pallet sheet.

"Template" list box

Here you select the template for the document to be printed, for example "Daily Time Sheet Only" or "Postpress Pallet Sheet Cutter".

"Language" list box

Select the language of the document template here.

"Print pallet sheet automatically after pallet change" option (5)

A pallet sheet is printed automatically on the specified printer after every pallet change when you enable this option.

"Print pallet sheet automatically after operation ends" option (6)

A pallet sheet is printed automatically on the specified printer each time an operation ends at this press when you enable this option.

You will find more information about creating pallet sheets at the following point: Creating a plate set sheet.
