Versions In jobs with versioning, this displays the version name to which the sheets are assigned,. Version Descriptions Displays the version descriptions in jobs with versioning (e.g. the different language versions). Production Approval Status Displays the production approval status as symbols: Approved Approved (out-of-date) The yellow symbol indicates that the previous approval status is no longer valid because the page was modified. Not Approved Not Approved (out-of-date) The yellow symbol indicates that the previous approval status is no longer valid because the page was modified. Layout in Gang Job Displays the layout name on which the gang job will be produced. Sheet in Gang Job Displays the sheet name on which the gang job will be produced. Status in Gang Job Displays the processing state of each of the pages in the gang job. Planned Amount Displays the planned number of copies. Page List Displays the page lists assigned to the job. Displays only page lists where at least one page position is used in the sheet layout. Plate Size Displays the width and height of the printing plate. Assigned Pages Displays the PDF file name, the page number and the position number (in brackets) of the assigned pages. Proof Layout A layout with this option set can only be sent to a proofer. You can set the "Proof" option at the following points in the layout view: •Select the row with the layout name. Select "Properties" > "Properties" tab > "Proof Layout" in the context menu. •Create a new layout interactively: "New" button > "New Layout" window > "Proof Layout" option. •Import a layout: "Import Layout" button > "Select Layout" window > "Import Layout" window > "Proof Layout" option. Preferences for This shows the steps that the sheet has to run as icons (e.g. cutting, folding, etc.). In other words, these are default steps for the sheet. Work Style This displays the type of work style, e.g. Sheetwise (front and back). Planned Waste Displays the planned waste sheets entered in the properties. Paper Size Displays the printing material dimensions of the sheet the page list is assigned to. Assign Count Displays the number of page list position pages are assigned to, e.g. 8 (pages) of 8 (positions). The numbers are red until assignment is complete. Page colors Displays the page colors (CMYK and spot colors). Page colors are the colors that are defined in the PDF file. Target Colors Displays the target colors (CMYK and spot colors). Target colors are all colors that you wish to output. In the "Colors" section, you can specify which colors are to be output. You can add more target colors to the job in addition to those defined in the PDF document. See also "Colors" Group. Inks Displays the process colors (CMYK and spot colors). Process colors are all colors that are output on the press. Process colors differ from target colors, for example if the press cannot print a target color. You can set in "Colors" that certain target colors will be ignored during output. Note: Colors set to "ignored" do not appear in the "Process Colors" column. Mark Colors Displays the mark colors (e.g. C, M, Y, K and any spot colors). Placement rule for assigned pages This entry shows the placement rule for assigned pages that was defined at the Prinect Signa Station. The following entries are possible: •"Automatic": The trimmed size is aligned at the bottom left corner of the trim box. •"Center": The page content is centered on the trimmed final format. •"Custom": The page content is offset in X/Y direction compared to the trimmed size. Modification Date Displays the date and time of the last change. Creation Date Displays the date the layout was created on. Plate Code Displays the plate code. Note: The plate code resembles a checksum where certain properties are grouped to a code. The plate code and the proof code must be identical. If not, the user will be issued a warning. Proof Status Displays the proof status as an icon, for example, whether a proof was printed or not. Paper Availability Information on the availability of the required paper at the output device. See also "Paper Availability" Window. Paper Displays the paper name (if a paper is assigned). Comment Displays an internal comment if available. Sheet Description Displays the descriptive sheet name provided by Prinect Business (the sheet name is automatically assigned a consecutive number in Prinect Business). Banner Displays which identification slip (banner) will be used. Banners are used for displaying modifications and identifying the printed content. Identification can be through simple text or a barcode. Lead-in identification and lead-out identification are possible. The following banners are available: •Job Banner Banner that is printed at the start and end of the whole job with an identifying text and/or with barcode. •Diecut Banner Banner that is printed at the start and end of the whole job with the cutting die and cutting die ID but without content. The diecut banner is used to set up the diecutter for the job. •Segment Banner Banner that is printed at the start and end of a segment to identify the article. This contains, for example, the article ID with delivery quantity, etc. Source Job Number Displays the job number of the source job in a gang run job. The mouse pointer turns into a "hand" when you hover it over the source job number. You can then double click to open the source job. Shape IDs Displays the shape IDs. Shape Names Displays the shape names. Tool IDs Displays the tool IDs. Article Numbers Displays the article numbers. Pages This shows the number of pages. Proof Status Displays the proof status as an icon. Plate status Displays the plate status as an icon. Print Status Displays the print status as an icon. Article Names Displays the article names.
