"Name" parameter The name of the page list to be modified is displayed here. "Positions" box Enter the page numbers of the page positions to be inserted here. The page list is extended by the positions entered, i.e. the added positions are appended to the last existing position. Once you have entered the page positions, you can click on the "OK" button. The insert is then executed and the window is closed. You can enter the positions in the form of individual pages or in the form of page ranges, or as a mixture of both forms. Examples: •In a page list with 36 page positions (pages 1-36) to which no document pages have yet been assigned, you want to insert pages 12, 22 and 34. Enter the following page numbers accordingly: 12,22,34 and confirm your entry with "OK". Result: Since no document pages have yet been assigned to the page positions, the page list is extended by positions 37, 38 and 39. •In a page list with 36 page positions (pages 1-36) to which document pages have already been assigned, you want to insert pages 12, 22 and 34. Enter the following page numbers accordingly: 12,22,34 and confirm your entry with "OK". Result: Since document pages have already been assigned to the page positions, empty page positions are inserted at page positions 12, 22 and 34. •In a page list with 36 page positions (pages 1-36) to which document pages have already been assigned, you want to insert pages 6-10, 22 and 30-34. Enter the following page numbers accordingly: 6-10,22,30-34 and confirm your entry with "OK". Result: Since document pages have already been assigned to the page positions, empty page positions are inserted at page positions 6-10, 22 and 30-34.

Prerequisite: To open this window, you must activate the "Page lists" or "Show page list assignment" view. See Changing views.
Note: You can remove incorrectly inserted page positions from the page list by selecting the relevant positions (you can select multiple items by holding the command key pressed and clicking) and pressing the shortcut Command + Del. You must confirm the "Delete Elements" dialog by clicking "OK". The selected positions will then be deleted.
