General Information about Job Lists

Buttons in the toolbars of the job lists

Each job list panel has a toolbar. In the toolbar you will find the buttons that let you influence job pro­cessing or change the view of the job lists:

Start

Start or restart of the marked job.

Restart Job / Separation Selection…

When the button is clicked, the dialog "Restart Job / Separation Selection" opens: From this dialog, you can:

Change the accounting attribute (selection: "Normal", "Customer Related", "Opera­tion Related" or a custom accounting attribute from Prinect Cockpit),

Change the priority (selection: "Urgent", High", "Medium" or "Low"),

Type a comment for reprinting in the "Comment" box,

Type the number of desired copies in the "Copies" box.

Pause

The marked, active job is paused. Multiple selection is possible.

Cancel

Processing of the marked job is aborted. Multiple selection is possible.

Delete

The marked job is deleted. Multiple selection is possible.

Set job to urgent

The job marked in the list of active jobs is given "urgent" as its priority. This means that the job is processed immediately as soon as the current job in processing is finished.

Context menu

Opens the context menu for the selected job that can have different menu items depending on the type of list. See Context menu commands.

Search

Opens the Search box in an unfiltered job list. See Finding Jobs.

Search

Cancels the search in an unfiltered job list. See Finding Jobs.

Search

Opens the Search box in a filtered job list. See Finding Jobs.

Search

Adopts the search word for searching a filtered job list. See Finding Jobs.

Settings (table view)

Opens the View menu in the table view where you can switch between the table view and the strip view and open the "Edit Columns" dialog. See View menu.

Settings (strip view)

Opens the View menu in the strip view where you can switch between the table view and the strip view and open the "Edit Columns" dialog. See View menu.

You can use the following buttons in the "Edit Columns" dialog to change the order and to show/hide data in every job list:

Move to top

Moves the selected column to the top.

Move one position up

Moves the selected column one position further up.

Move one position down

Moves the selected column one position further down.

Move to bottom

Moves the selected column to the bottom.

Reset columns

Resets the original state (show/hide and column order).
