"Active Jobs" and "Finished Jobs" Lists

The "Active Jobs" (top) and the "Finished Jobs" (bottom) lists display in these panels.

Active jobs are currently being processed by the engine or are in the queue waiting to be processed. You can set the order of job processing with the job priority in the Incoming Job List or modify it directly in the queue of active jobs.

Note: You can no longer stop the Shooter job once a Shooter separation is being output by the job engine.

You can change the order of output for jobs in the queue as long as they are not yet in the output. See Change Job Order.

To have a clear view of the list of finished jobs, you can move jobs to the "Job Depot" automatically (time-controlled) or manually. These jobs "disappear" from the other job lists. See "Job Depot" List.

"Details" View

When you highlight an item in the job lists in the main window, details about this job display in the "Details" view.

You will find the "Information", "Report" and "Signatures" tabs at the top below the preview. You can view the job parameters in these tabs.

Tab: Information

This tab shows you the following information about the highlighted job:

General (ID, Job Name, Job Number, Created on, Source, Spool Folder, Artifact Folder)

Statistics (Print time, Spooled, Start, Finished, Pages, File size)

Job settings (Material, Punch Settings)

Tab: Report

This tab shows you specific details about the highlighted job. Each of the parameters is listed in a table with their settings, with the parameters for each separation in "Report" located in sections you can expand or collapse:

Report

·Separation (Dot shape, Screening system, Dot size, Paper stretch compensation, Screening nominal angle, Screening nominal frequency, Linearization, Process calibration)

Document (Colors, Resolution, Format, Name, Type, Material)

The information about the material is very important because it can be passed on via the JDF or FBDI interface and can overwrite the "Material" property of the virtual printer. See Job Definition Format (JDF) Support.

Tab: Signatures

From the contents of the TIFF-B files, Prinect Shooter can see whether, for example, several color separations are part of one initial job.

In the "Signatures" tab, you will find details about the work type and any comments made for a reprint. See Reprinting Jobs or Single Separations.

Separations that are to be output or were output are tagged by a checkmark in the table. Deselected separations are tagged by the cross.

To sort the list items, click the column header which you want to sort in ascending or descending order. The arrows beside the selected column header show the sorting order.

Device Data

At the bottom right, you will find device details about the connected CtP device (imagesetter status). This is where you can find out at any time how many plates are in each of the cassettes of the connected CtP devices.

During output, you will also see the job name, the job ID of the currently imaged plate and a percent progress bar.
