The higher the average printing speed, the more productive is the press. The "Speed index" diagram displays the following information: •The average speed index for each day (2). •The average speed index for the entire month (3). •The calculated OEE index (4) See OEE Index. Calculating the speed indicator: Example: For calculation purposes, a maximum printing speed of 18000 sheets per hour (sheets/h) was defined. See Where do I specify the maximum production speed?. A speed index of 50% would indicate that your jobs are being produced at an average printing speed of 9000 sheets per hour. A speed index of 75% is equivalent to an average printing speed of 13500 sheets per hour. Where do I specify the maximum production speed? To calculate the speed index, you use the maximum production speed that was set when creating the machine in the Device Assistant.
